Description
Cialis 20 mg is a medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains the active ingredient Tadalafil, which belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Cialis works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, thereby helping men achieve and maintain an erection. It is also prescribed for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) in some cases. The recommended dose is usually taken as needed, approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity. Cialis 20 mg can remain effective for up to 36 hours, earning it the nickname “the weekend pill.” However, it should not be taken more than once a day. Common side effects may include headache, indigestion, muscle aches, back pain, flushing, and stuffy or runny nose. Serious side effects such as priapism (prolonged erection) or sudden vision loss are rare but require immediate medical attention.
